A 20-year-old American woman decided to steal a pistol from a gun store in Marietta, Georgia, and then commit a robbery with it. She selected the weapon, waited for the employee to hand it over to her, and then ran for the exit.
She never made it to the second step of her plan. A store employee, a former Marine, intervened. The woman was detained.
