A wheelchair user was instantly "cured" when he was caught stealing (5 photos + 1 video)
A miraculous recovery was captured on CCTV in Staplehurst, England. Nineteen-year-old Davey Brown arrived at a store in a wheelchair and stole two six-packs of beer. He was stopped by a security guard, but then jumped to his feet. 
The wheelchair user was accompanied by an assistant, who helped him hide the beer under his jacket. As they were leaving, they were stopped by a security guard. Brown suddenly jumped up from his wheelchair and began punching the guard and throwing cans. 
The man managed to escape, but was arrested half an hour later.
According to Kent Police, shortly before the theft, Brown caused an accident. He crashed into a parked car on Four Elms Road in Edenbridge and then fled the scene.
He then went to a supermarket, where he pretended to be disabled. He hid two six-packs of beer under his jacket, which he held in his lap, and attempted to leave without paying. 
During the incident, another store worker was injured by a thrown object.
The 19-year-old was charged with robbery, assault, property damage, assault, uttering threats, and driving without insurance.
He pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court and was sentenced to three years and one month in prison. He was also disqualified from driving.
His 17-year-old accomplice was sent to a juvenile detention center for six months.
Investigator Ricky Strong said: "Brown is a violent individual who endangered another motorist, assaulted a security guard and his colleague, and threatened police officers. He sustained injuries requiring hospitalization while simply doing his job. His prison sentence means Brown will be unable to threaten the safety of others for some time."
