Mazda Unveils Updated Mazda CX-80 and Mazda CX-60 Crossovers (14 photos)
Mazda Europe announced the updated CX-60 and CX-80 crossovers for the 2026 model year. The manufacturer announced significant improvements in performance, safety systems, and design.
The new models comply with strict Euro 6e-bis emissions standards and support the use of alternative fuels. Diesel versions can run on HVO100 hydrotreated vegetable oil, which reduces the vehicles' carbon footprint.
A key innovation is the Driver Emergency Assist 3 system. This technology can detect a sudden deterioration in the driver's condition, automatically take control, and safely stop the vehicle. The system also unlocks the doors to ensure emergency personnel can quickly reach passengers.
Standard equipment includes an active safety suite with forward collision avoidance, lane keeping assist, and emergency braking. Also featured are advanced cruise control, traffic jam assist, and the Amazon Alexa voice assistant with a hybrid navigation system.
The design features a new Polymetal Gray exterior color, and the interior features premium beige quilted Nappa leather trim. The package also includes a two-tone leather steering wheel, suede dashboard trim, sound-insulated windows, and new 20-inch alloy wheels.
The engine lineup includes 3.3-liter diesel hybrids with 200 and 254 hp with all-wheel drive, as well as the e-Skyactiv PHEV plug-in hybrid, powered by a 2.5-liter gasoline engine producing 327 hp. The CX-80 is available in 254 and 327 hp versions.
