A couple saved a raccoon with the help of a traffic cone
Residents of the United States came to the aid of a drowning raccoon. The animal was pulled from the water using a traffic cone.
A couple, Elizabeth Heffron and Will DeLeo, spotted the animal while walking along the shore. At first, they mistook it for an otter, but then noticed it was barely floating. The raccoon was starting to tire and could sink at any moment.
Heffron and DeLeo decided to come to the rescue. He found a traffic cone nearby and tied a belt to it. He then lowered the cone to the raccoon and waited for it to grab onto the "life preserver." The animal slipped off the cone several times, but never gave up. DeLeo eventually managed to pull it ashore. The rescue was captured on video.
