The Philippines has chosen the beauty queen for the 2025 Miss Earth pageant (4 photos)
The winner was Natalie Pushkinova of the Czech Republic. 
The Miss Earth 2025 international beauty pageant was held in Manila, with Natalie Pushkinova of the Czech Republic crowned the winner. The announcement ceremony was broadcast on YouTube, and ABS-CBN covered the event. 
This is the Czech Republic's second victory in this competition – Tereza Fajksova previously won the title in 2012. Natalie received the crown from last year's winner, Jessica Lane from Australia. 
This year, 78 girls from all over the world participated in the competition. Ukraine's Maria Zhelezkova made it into the final top 12.

Miss Earth is a young pageant. It was first held in 2021, but since then it has become quite prestigious and is considered one of the "Big Four" along with Miss Universe, Miss World, and the somewhat less popular Miss International. The pageant differs from other competitions in that a jury selects four winners. The main winner is crowned Miss Earth, while the other three are awarded the crowns of Miss Air, Miss Fire, and Miss Water.
In addition to being assessed for their physical attractiveness, contestants must demonstrate their knowledge of ecology and environmental protection, and the winners receive the status of UN ambassadors for sustainable development and environmental protection.
