I stumbled upon the page of the author, a fellow sincere lover of our native and beloved city, Odessa. I delved into old color photographs, taken around 1971 (you'll understand why as you browse), by the photographer Volker Tommack, a former photographer.

Here is a small selection of these photographs. As always, here are classics, but rare, in color, everyday sketches of student life in the late 1960s and early 1970s, demonstrations and sports, menu forms from a restaurant at the Odessa train station, and much more! Forward!
