A trailer for the miniseries "Last Samurai Standing" has appeared online, and netizens are already comparing it to "Shogun" and "The Squid Game." The plot follows 292 samurai who travel to Kyoto to compete in a deadly tournament for 100 billion yen.
The series is set in late 19th-century Meiji era Japan and is based on the novel "Hikuidori" by Shogo Imamura. A total of six episodes are planned.
