Banna tribe: in Ethiopia, they walk on stilts from childhood

In the Ethiopian Banna tribe, children learn to walk on stilts from a young age. The tradition originated with shepherds, who used it to move faster, see further across the plains, and protect themselves from snakes in the tall grass of the Omo Valley.
