1. Ashton Kutcher and his twin brother Michael



"We're twins... and I consider him my best friend," actor Ashton Kutcher told Pioneer Press in 2012 about his brother Michael Kutcher, who is only five minutes older than him. When Michael was three years old, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

In an interview, Ashton recalled a terrifying and deeply emotional moment from their childhood.

"I walk into the room and think, 'Something's wrong here.' And then the line on the monitor goes flat. I already knew that sound because I used to visit him sometimes."

That incident resulted in a heart transplant for Michael, who now works to advocate for the rights of people with disabilities.

2. Rami Malek and his twin brother, Sami





Many fans learned that Rami has a younger (only five minutes younger) twin brother when he brought him to the 2019 Golden Globes. Rami won Best Actor for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody. He later won an Oscar for the same role.

The brothers also have a sister, Yasmine Malek, who is a doctor.

Sami is known to be a school teacher.

As children and teenagers, Rami and Sami often played pranks on friends and family – they resembled each other so much. And once, they exploited their similarity for their own gain:

We were bad, very bad boys. Sometimes we helped each other out of different situations. I had just returned from acting classes, and he said, "Listen, my teacher is willing to give me the credits I need to graduate. All I need to do is recite a monologue from a Greek tragedy. Do you know any Greek tragedies?" I replied, "Actually, I just acted in a Greek tragedy my last year, so let me give it a try."

Sami got his credits, and his teacher was pleasantly surprised, but he still didn't notice the trick.

3. Kiefer Sutherland and his twin sister, Rachel



Kiefer and Rachel were born to legendary actor Donald Sutherland and actress Shirley Douglas, so their destiny was practically sealed. Unsurprisingly, both found their place in Hollywood—Kiefer in front of the camera, and Rachel behind it.

"Being a twin means you understand the importance of having a companion. No matter what was happening to me, I could always share it with her," he told The Guardian in 2018.

Rachel works as a television producer. She is seven minutes older than Kiefer.

4. Scarlett Johansson and her twin brother Hunter



Scarlett is only three minutes older than her twin brother Hunter, and they share a very close bond.

"Of course, we know so much about each other, because we were literally... together before we were born," Scarlett says.

Hunter has no connection to show business. In 2018, he founded the nonprofit Solar Responders, which helps install solar panels and energy storage systems at fire stations in Puerto Rico.

5. Vin Diesel and his twin brother, Paul
