In the Chinese city of Chongqing, there's a theater where the stage and part of the auditorium rotate during performances.
The 1,500-seat theater was designed specifically for the one-off historical play, "Chongqing 1949." The stage consists of five sections that move independently, allowing for dynamic action scenes with chases and more.
The action unfolds against the backdrop of the liberation of Chongqing in 1949. The performers bring history to life through dramatic storytelling and stunning choreography.
The show lasts 70 minutes, tickets start at ¥298
