Children of Hollywood celebrities are the spitting image of their parents (11 photos)
Although they say the apple doesn't roll far from the tree, not all children resemble their mother or father very much.
Often, children combine the traits of both parents, or even trace their lineage to a distant or unrelated branch, inheriting the appearance of a great-grandmother or cousin. But this is not the case, as the sons and daughters of these stars are so similar to them that they surprisingly resemble their younger selves. They serve as a tangible reminder of the power of genetics.
1. Jack Nicholson and Ray Nicholson
33-year-old Ray's father, Jack Nicholson, terrified audiences with his sinister grin in films like The Shining, Wolf, Batman, The Witches of Eastwick, and many others.
Ray certainly brings the same thrill to the screen. He caused a stir with his equally chilling smile in Smile 2.
2. Damon Wayans and Damon Kyle Wayans Jr.
When Damon Wayans Jr. was just starting out, he went by the name Kyle Green to avoid being confused with his famous father. He combined his middle name, Kyle, with his grandmother's maiden name to avoid any unnecessary questions at auditions.
But it didn't work, partly because he was the spitting image of his father. Now 42, Damon Jr. has embraced his roots and is working alongside his legendary father on the new CBS sitcom "Daddy's Home."
3. Ice Cube (O'Shea Jackson) and O'Shea Jackson Jr.
O'Shea Jackson Jr. is so similar to his father, American rapper Ice Cube, that his breakout role was playing the legendary rapper in the N.W.A. biopic "Straight Outta Compton."
4. Angelina Jolie, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, and Shiloh Jolie
Angelina Jolie's daughters, Vivienne and Shiloh, bear a striking resemblance to their mother. Vivienne, who has a twin brother, Knox, has already shown some interest in show business. The 17-year-old recently worked alongside her famous mother as a production assistant on the Broadway musical "The Outsiders."
Although 19-year-old Shiloh voiced a character in the animated film "Kung Fu Panda 3" back in 2016, she's not particularly eager to continue the family business. However, she demonstrates a strong talent for choreography. Until 2024, Shiloh had the double surname Jolie-Pitt, but during a parental conflict, she chose her mother's side and dropped her father's surname.
5. Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe
Ava Phillippe's radiant smile, lush blonde curls, and heart-shaped face make you rub your eyes and take a closer look at her, who is the spitting image of her mother, Reese Witherspoon. Ava, 26, is an actress with only two television series under her belt. The girl stopped communicating with her father several years ago after he was accused of physical abuse against his girlfriend (he divorced Reese Witherspoon in 2008).
6. Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber
When your mother is Cindy Crawford, and you look a lot like her, it's only natural to go into modeling. And Kaia Gerber picked up the baton and continued her mother's legacy.
When the 24-year-old model isn't poring over archives and recreating her mother's iconic looks, she's busy walking the runway for fashion houses like Valentino, Prada, Alexander McQueen, and many others.
7. Victoria Beckham and Cruz Beckham
While all four children of Victoria and David Beckham resemble both parents, 20-year-old Cruz Beckham has inherited more of his mother's traits.
He inherited not only Victoria's looks and sense of style, but also her musical talent. His social media pages feature posts of Cruise singing, playing guitar, and recording in the studio.
8. Andie MacDowell and Margaret Qualley
Margaret Qualley recently played a younger version of Demi Moore in Substance, but in real life, she's a younger version of her mother, Andie MacDowell.
And they shared their similarities on screen: the family duo played mother and daughter in the Netflix series The Cleaning Lady.
9. Kate Moss and Lila Moss
Lila Moss's facial features made her an ideal candidate for the world of high fashion. And her mother, Kate Moss, undoubtedly deserves credit for this.
Although Kate Moss was reluctant to let her daughter enter the fashion industry when she was still very young, the runway legend eventually agreed. The couple even became the faces of a joint Fendi advertising campaign and walked the Victoria's Secret runway together.
10. Clint Eastwood and Scott Eastwood
Clint Eastwood rose to fame starring in Westerns. And he passed on to his son Scott the hero-lover gene and that famous squint.
Scott, 39, has starred in films such as "Devil," "The Longest Ride," "Overdrive," "Pacific Rim 2," and many others.
Scott also starred in "Flags of Our Fathers," "Gran Torino," "Invictus," and "Trouble on the Curve," all of which were directed or starred in by his famous father.
