A trailer for a new Game of Thrones series has been released.
The plot tells the story of one of Westeros' most famous knights, Duncan the Tall, and his squire Egg, the future King Aegon V Targaryen.
HBO premiered the trailer for the series "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight" at New York Comic Con. This is the first new project in the Game of Thrones universe in three years.
The first season consists of six episodes and is an adaptation of George R.R. Martin's novella "The Hedge Knight." The story centers on the wandering hedge knight Duncan, played by Peter Claffey, and his ward Egg, played by Dexter Saul Ansell.
The series is set a century before the events of "Game of Thrones." House Targaryen still occupies the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet faded.
The project was developed by George R.R. Martin and showrunner Ira Parker. The writer said he "enjoyed all six episodes" of the series.
