A traveler was deported five minutes after landing (5 photos)

In July, Rebecca McCurry went on holiday with friends to Marrakech. She inadvertently left her passport on the plane, but remembered it almost immediately and asked to return for it.





After searching, Ryanair staff said they were unable to find her passport.

Rebecca, from Lochgilphead, Scotland, is in constant pain and has lost consciousness several times during questioning by border police.

She was told she would have to wait up to five days for a return flight to Edinburgh, even though the plane she had arrived on was still at the airport.

The girl complained that she was "laughed at."

Ultimately, McCary was put on a flight to Manchester.



"I was deported to Manchester, and my father drove six hours to pick me up," she said.

Ironically, Rebecca knew the girl on the return flight to Edinburgh. She quickly found her passport, but the flight attendants took it.

"It was exactly where I left it. I spent over a month trying to contact them—in the end, I had to go to the airport myself and pay £30 to get my passport back," the British woman complained.





Despite all her efforts, she was unable to file a complaint with Ryanair.

"I tried everything: chatbots, email. I don't know a single person who has been able to get through to Ryanair. If there are problems, the customer is powerless. They have made numerous mistakes. There was a protocol that required the plane to be checked."



"This experience left me with severe anxiety and a real phobia. I recently decided to fly again, hoping to overcome my fear. But I was terrified, constantly thinking about possible deportation."

A Ryanair spokesperson commented: "A passenger lost her passport on board a flight from Edinburgh to Marrakech on July 31. As a result, she was denied entry to Morocco. At the request of Marrakech authorities, Ryanair placed the passenger on the next flight to the UK that same day."
