LEGO has unveiled its most expensive set in its history — a giant Death Star from Star Wars. The set includes over 9,000 pieces, iconic characters and stormtroopers, and a bunch of Easter eggs.
Instead of making the station round again, the company took a different approach.
This new model is essentially a diorama, depicting characters and scenes (using movable parts) from both the first and second iterations of the battle station featured in A New Hope and Return of the Jedi.
LEGO introduced the set with a fun video.

The height of the structure is 52 centimeters, the width is 48 centimeters, the depth is 38 centimeters.

Price - $1000. The set is not yet available for sale.

38 figures will take part in the scenes (for example, Galen Erso will make his debut among the SW figures), including Luke Skywalker (including as a stormtrooper), Han Solo, Leia, Vader, Palpatine and two droids.
