A ground drone of the 13th NGU Brigade Charter Snake-500 evacuated a wounded soldier
Ground robotic systems of the Charter most often perform logistics and evacuation functions. During one of the tasks, the crew managed to both deliver and evacuate the wounded. As reported by Censor.NET, the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Charter" reported this on its official Telegram channel.
The mission was planned in advance and had a dual purpose: delivering provisions, fuel and water to the front line, as well as evacuating a wounded soldier. The Zmey-500 drone set off along a specific route, carrying the necessary cargo for an infantry position located near the evacuation point. Upon arrival at the position, the cargo was quickly unloaded to make room for the wounded.
The wounded infantryman was in moderate condition, with a severe leg wound. The main difficulty was the difficult and broken path to the evacuation site, as well as the constant threat from enemy UAVs. Despite this, the drone managed to carefully and safely navigate difficult field roads and deliver the soldier to medical evacuation. The total route length was 34 km.
Thanks to clear coordination and timely completion of the mission, the wounded man was saved. As it turned out later, a delay of even a few hours could have been fatal.
