An enemy tank, mortar, 7 vehicles, UAV control point, 3 communication towers, 4 dugouts and 3 shelters were destroyed.
One of the key areas of work of the border guards is the introduction and scaling of unmanned aerial systems. Today, drones allow for reconnaissance, strikes, cargo delivery, and even round-the-clock video surveillance of the border, - reports the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko. In the first half of 2025, border guards completed more than 200 thousand flight hours using drones and performed many combat missions, reports Censor.NET.
With the help of border guards' UAVs, the following were destroyed:
more than 6,500 enemy vehicles;
270 ammunition depots;
more than 9,000 shelters and places of stay of occupiers were hit;
hundreds of enemy UAVs were shot down.
Now the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is deploying the use of fiber-optic controlled drones, which are not afraid of enemy electronic warfare systems and provide stable communication on the battlefield.
But drones are important not only at the front. They are an effective tool for protecting the border in the rear. Monitoring the security of state borders, identifying and detaining violators, round-the-clock video surveillance - all this is done with the use of unmanned systems.
The published video shows the destruction by UAV operators of the RUBpAK "Prime" unit of an enemy tank, a mortar, 7 vehicles, an enemy drone control point, 3 communication towers, 4 dugouts and 3 shelters, and enemy infantry.
