Airline refused to fly a woman who cried and knelt knees, negative, passenger, flight, carry-on baggage
The scandal erupted over Ryanair's strict baggage rules at Sofia Airport. When airline employees demanded that one of the passengers pay extra for hand luggage that slightly exceeded the permitted dimensions, the woman reacted inadequately. She began screaming and crying, trying to prove that her bag fits into the measuring box, but even after that, the employees refused to board her. Dozens of people watched her tears and pleas for help through the glass doors of the terminal. As a result, airport employees and security approached the woman, and the passengers were pushed towards the bus under the threat of cancellation of the flight. According to eyewitnesses, the staff acted harshly and showed virtually no sympathy. The airline itself explained that the woman's ticket allowed only one small bag, which is why they asked her to pay extra. The company insists that in this case, employees worked according to the rules and did not have physical contact with the passenger.
