A practice of motivating the Russian army commanders to execute their own soldiers is widespread, - GUR MO
In a radio intercept obtained by Ukrainian intelligence officers, the commander of one of the units of the 155th separate marine brigade of the Pacific fleet of the aggressor state orders the execution of a wounded soldier of the same brigade. As reported by Censor.NET, this was stated in a message from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"Shoot him the f--k! There are no sick people in the marines - there are living and there are dead. He has no other options. I order to shoot him if he does not go further," the Main Intelligence Directorate quotes the Russian commander as saying.
The intelligence officers' message notes that the killing of their own soldiers is a common practice of "motivation" among the commanders of the army of the aggressor state. The threat of execution is the only way Russian commanders force their personnel to carry out combat missions.
As reported, the 155th marine brigade of the Russian troops is known for committing war crimes during the occupation of the Kyiv region, as well as in other areas of the front.
Recently, specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine recorded yet another war crime by this brigade - an order to kill and behead Ukrainian prisoners of war.
