Self-balancing ashtray

An interesting thing that could be found on American trains about 100 years ago. Smoking passengers would push it to each other right in the car.

Due to the well-thought-out weight distribution, it always aligned vertically. And although this thing was primarily created for railroads, it was also used on steamships.
