Fearless Woman Caught a King Cobra
In the state of Kerala, India, a forest guard named Roshni caught a king cobra. The process of catching the largest venomous snake in the world was filmed on video.
Roshni entered into a fight with the snake at the call of local residents. They complained to the forest guard about a king cobra that occupied a stream in which they usually bathe. The five-meter snake actively resisted Roshni's actions, but she was able to cope with it. Their fight was caught on video.
Afterwards, the woman released the snake into the wild. Roshni has been serving in the forest guard for eight years. During this time, she has caught more than 800 snakes, but this was the first time she encountered a king cobra. Former forest guard Susanta Nanda called the woman a queen.
