A fight between a jaguar and an alligator was caught on video (2 photos + 1 video)
In the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, a jaguar attacked an alligator swimming by. The short fight was captured on video. 
The encounter between the predators was witnessed by members of Italo Garcia Alves' tourist group. He said that he noticed the jaguar hiding in a tree while exploring the jungle. The man had to sit in ambush for four hours and 11 minutes to see how the wild cat attacked the alligator swimming by. This moment was captured on video.
The predators grappled in the water. For a while, the jaguar did not appear on the surface, but it was visible as it tossed the alligator from side to side. Eventually, the jaguar lost its prey and climbed to the shore.
