An extremely rare 2007 SSC Ultimate Aero supercar was destroyed in the US. At one time, it was the fastest car in the world. 
The SSC Ultimate Aero was reduced to a pile of mangled metal and carbon fiber. The destroyed car was sent for recycling.
It turned out that the SSC Ultimate Aero supercar had not been used in recent years due to a serious malfunction. The car could not be repaired, so it was decided to spectacularly destroy it in public. 
SSC Ultimate Aero is a real rarity, as only a few dozen of these cars were made. The sports model was equipped with a 6.3-liter twin-turbo V8 with a power output of 790 to 1287 hp.
