Remember Elon Musk's crazy Hyperloop idea, which he abandoned back in 2023? Well, the Chinese didn't abandon it and decided to build everything. The technology allows for speeds of up to 1,000 km/h. The state-owned company CASIC, responsible for the development of rockets and space technology, is building a highway between Shanghai and Hangzhou (200 km will be covered in 9 minutes), and then there will be a Beijing-Shanghai road, where the distance of 1,200 km is planned to be covered in 1.5 hours.
