Man runs out onto runway at London airport (4 photos + 1 video)
The unknown person easily entered the Heathrow airport tarmac. At least four staff members chased the man as he raced through the area near Terminal 2. 
The chase was filmed by one of the witnesses, who could not hide his frustration at what was happening.
He asked: "What's going on? Why is everyone running? This guy is clearly running from someone, they are chasing him. What's going on? Can't anyone handle him? They'll have to stop the planes, he's running straight at them"
Soon a minivan appeared, two men jumped out and grabbed the offender. And a few moments later the police arrived.
The Briton added in bewilderment: "What the hell was that? In America, fifty cars and seven hundred police officers would have rushed to the scene."
A Heathrow spokesman commented: "The man walked onto the taxiway, but we quickly resolved the incident. The airport is operating normally, flights are departing on schedule."
