A man saved a girl with the help of a drone
A fisherman came to the aid of a drowning girl in the US. The man used a drone to help the teenager.
The man suffers from epilepsy and prefers to fish from the shore using a drone.
The incident occurred last week in the Fort Pickens Beach area in Pensacola County. On Thursday, May 15, Andrew Smith was going to catch sharks using a drone, but was using the device for other purposes when he approached the water and noticed a teenage girl struggling with a strong current.
Smith had an idea. He grabbed a life jacket lying right on the sand, attached it to the drone and sent the drone to the girl, but missed on the first try. Then an unknown woman began to help the man, and eventually the victim was able to catch the jacket. Then rescuers came out into the water, and the girl did not have to overcome the rest of the way on her own.
When the teenager was brought to shore, Smith shed tears. The next day, the man spoke with the father of the girl he saved, who said that she was doing well and warmly thanked him for his concern for his daughter's fate.
