Survived 40 operations. Wounded soldier Vladimir Ovsyannikov, who lost a leg, an arm, and an eye, dreams of returning to the army
Ukrainian soldier Vladimir Ovsyannikov, who was seriously wounded, as a result of which he lost a leg, an arm and an eye, has announced his desire to return to the army. As reported by Censor.NET, this is stated in a Hromadske story.
The man has already undergone 40 operations. There are about five more ahead.
"I even reproached myself for some time that I let down the country, let down people, let down the guys, because I was wounded. I left my unit without a command," Vladimir noted. A mine flew into his trench. His mother has been living with him in hospitals for almost two years.
"Well, I was wounded. I'm recovering, getting treatment. My mother, the country, doctors, people, friends, volunteers are taking care of me. A lot of people. I'm ashamed to cry and say: "Oh, I feel so bad," the defender says.
"Returning to duty - that's what I dream about. That's my dream. I don't have any other dream. Vanya and Petya won't go, they're hiding, running away from the TCC. They say something: "We don't know how, we don't know. The police say: "We weren't taught." Someone says: "I'm afraid." And let me say this - so what? Should we wait until the "Kadyrovites" or the Yakuts come here, rape you, beat you up? I've already seen all this in the war. ... No need to whine. We need to get better, get up and go defend the country. Everyone as best they can," Vladimir added.
