A low-mileage GAZ-69M was put up for auction in the USA (43 photos)

In the USA, an interesting car was put up for online auction, which overseas can be considered a rarity. This is a GAZ-69M, produced in 1966. Moreover, in its 59 years on the roads, the "goat" has driven only about 40 thousand kilometers. It is worth noting here that the car has a 5-digit odometer and it could well go for a second round.





The seller does not disclose any special details about the car's history, but it is known that he himself purchased the 69th in 2025 and drove about 100 kilometers of the total mileage, and in the early 2000s, judging by the attached documents, the SUV drove along the roads of Spain.

Not long before the last change of owner, the GAZ-69M underwent a light restoration, during which the "rogue" was refreshed, a new awning was sewn, and the upholstery of the front seats and benches in the rear for passengers was replaced.

The GAZ-69M is powered by a 2.4-liter in-line carburetor with four cylinders. In its best years, such a unit produced 65 horsepower versus 55 from the 2.1-liter engine that regular 69s were equipped with. The four works with a 3-speed manual and a 2-speed transfer case.

The total circulation of 69s, produced from 1952 to 1973, exceeds 600 thousand cars, but according to some sources, just over 10.5 thousand modifications with a 2.4 engine, bearing the indexes 69M and 69AM, were made. That is, the SUV can be considered relatively rare not only in the United States. At the time of publication, the car is already offered for 10.2 thousand dollars.

In 2023, a GAZ 69 in worse condition was sold for 23 thousand dollars.
