In the US, a hairdresser cut off an 11-year-old girl's braids for refusing to pay for being late
An 11-year-old girl became the victim of aggressive actions by a stylist after an argument about a fine for being 10 minutes late, which according to salon rules meant a fine of $25.
The schoolgirl's mother refused to pay the fine, claiming that they met the allowed grace period. In response, the hairdresser grabbed scissors and began cutting off the child's carefully braided hair. The conflict was captured on surveillance cameras, and the recording later appeared on social networks. The video shows how the American tried to protect her daughter, as a result of which she received a cut on her hand.
The grandmother of the injured girl, Conchota Singleton, expressed outrage at the incident. She emphasized that there are civilized ways to resolve such disputes, and no one has the right to take justice into their own hands. According to her, the services were paid for in advance, but the stylist first canceled the appointment and then behaved in an unacceptably aggressive manner.
The owner of the establishment officially stated that the employee involved in the incident no longer works at the salon. The management apologized to the affected family and emphasized that such behavior does not correspond to the standards and values of their business. The statement emphasized that the safety and comfort of clients are priorities for the hair salon.
