Artist Creates Copies of Paintings from Clothes

The artist has found a unique way to interpret classic paintings. Instead of brushes and paints, she uses clothes and bed linen.

When the coronavirus quarantine closed the doors of museums, Eliza Reinhardt opened the closet. Literally. The artist began to recreate famous canvases using only what was at hand - clothes, bed linen and her own creativity.

Over time, the project went beyond a temporary hobby. Improvised reconstructions became her artistic style, recognizable and ironic.

Each unusual painting is not just a copy, but an independent statement, where visual accuracy meets home warmth and a slight mockery of academic drawing.

Her works include T-shirts, shirts, pants, socks, towels and a variety of fabrics.

Over time, this style became the artist's calling card.
