A guitarist from New Jersey broke up a band, spending the entire budget of the band on food delivery and donations to nude models (4 photos + 1 video)
By some strange coincidence, Anthony Webster was in sole control of the band's finances, which he spent as he saw fit.
The young hardcore punk band Gel officially ceased to exist due to the irresponsible behavior of one of its members. Anthony Webster, who was in charge of the band's budget, spent the money on his own needs, and also sponsored nude models who sold photos and videos on well-known adult websites.
GEL members claim that Webster stole tens of thousands of dollars and refused to give the band any spending reports. He had sole control of the band's bank account, preventing other musicians from accessing it.

In addition, Webster behaved unethically towards the members of the band, posting their provocative photos in the public domain on Reddit. It is clear that his colleagues did not give permission for these publications.
The guitarist, as follows from the statement, also put colleagues in physical danger, published offensive posts on social networks and did a lot of other disgusting and unacceptable things. Of course, many wonder why the musicians allowed themselves to treat them like that and let the situation get so bad. The members of the band answer that it was an emotionally and physically abusive relationship that is not easy to get rid of, especially when it comes to life, career and pressure from the industry.
It is noteworthy that the group decided to officially disband amid growing popularity. In 2024, the group released a successful EP "Persona". The musicians recently gave a concert in Japan and planned to go on a major tour with Spiritbox, Volbeat and Anxious, as well as perform at the Coachella festival this year. But now these plans are destined to come true.
At the end of the official statement, the musicians apologized to their fans and colleagues, thanked them for their support and wished everyone to take care of each other.
