An elderly Italian couple swam into a protected area in Thailand and were caught by the marine police.
The incident occurred on February 21 off the coast of Krabi province in southern Thailand. The husband and wife swam into a protected area about 700 meters from the beach and were caught by the marine police. The police politely explained that swimming in this area was prohibited for the safety of the corals.
The stubborn Italians refused to obey, so the police had to dive in after them and drag them onto the boat. The disgruntled tourist began shouting at them and calling them crazy. He also promised never to come to Thailand again.
