Airplane Passenger Sprinkles Plane with Holy Water After Horrific Series of Crashs
Desiree Salter filmed herself wiping the plane's skin with holy water and saying a prayer before the flight. People's reactions to her actions were mixed.
The video, published on TikTok with the caption "In the name of Jesus, we pray... Amen!", has collected more than 5.7 million views and many comments.
The reaction of netizens was mixed: some supported Desiree, considering her actions an act of caution, while others took it with humor.
"No, seriously, I don't blame you. We will continue to live and not die!", "I would immediately feel safer on this flight," they wrote.
This action of the girl was caused by the recent incident with the Delta airliner. Earlier this week, the Canadian-made Bombardier CRJ-900 airliner flipped while landing on an icy runway. The accident injured 15 people, three of whom are in critical condition. Despite this, all 80 passengers on the flight survived.
Experts compare this incident to the miraculous splashdown of a US Airways flight in the Hudson River in 2009.
"This case can be considered positive, because the fuselage of the plane remained intact, and the CRJ-900 has proven its reliability," the aviation expert noted.
