The transport tax in Ukraine (also known as the luxury tax) in 2025 applies to cars worth more than 3 million hryvnias (375 minimum wages) and up to 5 years old. The luxury tax rate remains unchanged - 25,000 hryvnias per year.
After receiving the tax assessment notice, individuals have 60 days to pay it, and legal entities - 30 days.
Traditionally, the list of cars subject to the luxury tax is approved every year. This year, the list includes the new supercars Aston Martin DB12, Lamborghini Revuelto and Maserati MC20, and the updated hybrid Bentley Continental GT. There is also the Rolls-Royce Spectre electric car: Ukrainians have already purchased 13 such cars worth $600,000. Important
The list also includes rarities such as the Lotus Emira, Ineos SUVs, the limited Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years, or Hymer-Mercedes motorhomes.
The largest number of luxury models is from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, and Land Rover. However, in 2025, Ferrari and McLaren supercars will not be subject to transport tax at all. There is no model from these brands on the list, although they have recently been imported to Ukraine. There are also no Tesla or Rivian electric cars, the most expensive versions of which cost over 3 million hryvnias.
