Dog Abandoned in Cage on Street During Snow Storm (7 photos)

It's hard to imagine how heartless some people can be towards animals.





A resident of Kansas City (Missouri, USA) was convinced of this when he was awakened by a dog barking near his home at about five in the morning. The irritated elderly man looked outside to see what was going on and was shocked by what he saw.



A shivering dog was left behind in a cage on a snowy street in the middle of a storm. A bystander immediately called a rescue organization, and the animal was taken in.





Luckily, the dog, named Blair, was not harmed by her terrifying ordeal. The shelter where she is currently staying reported that Blair is completely ready for "adoption."





She would be a good fit for owners who already have a dog, but she is perhaps too active and noisy for families with small children.
