Faster than a calculator: a child prodigy set 6 world records in mental arithmetic
To stay in "shape", the boy trains to operate with numbers for several hours every day. Yoga helps him to stay focused.
14-year-old Aaryan Shukla moved the dice on an imaginary counting board, thanks to which he correctly added 100 four-digit numbers in 30.9 seconds and 50 five-digit numbers in 18.71 seconds. In addition, the child prodigy excelled in division and multiplication.
The boy showed a talent for counting from early childhood. Moreover, his exceptional ability to calculate was not inherited. His father and mother are the most "ordinary" people. And already at the age of eight, Aaryan went to his first international competition, where he won medals and cups. Since then, the boy has become a world champion and even one of the founders of the World Association of Mental Calculators.
