The images from the Mars Express spacecraft and the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter probe have been published. Technically, this is not snow, but carbon dioxide ice heated by sunlight. In this process, the ice turns into a gaseous state. The images were taken in the summer, when the temperature dropped to -125 °C.
