There are things, people and cities that age gracefully. And even when falling into decay, they remain attractive and aesthetically rich.

Venice, once almost the center of the oikumene, is currently quietly dying. The city, built in defiance of nature and other obstacles, personifying wealth and splendor, is still stunningly beautiful. But this beauty is not the usual, polished and correct, but a different one - the beauty of decline. Venice is as beautiful as a magnificent, expensive, master-made, but aged leather chair - worn and cracked. The city is amazingly photogenic, but taking pictures of the popular attractions there is boring. In Venice, you just need to wander the streets, looking at the details, of which there are a huge number, since each building is unique and was built not only for living, but also to impress. And the wear, peeling plaster, damp walls only add charm to the city. I present to you my pictures from this beautiful city and hope that viewing will bring aesthetic pleasure.
