Thousands of Americans gathered outside the Washington D.C. arena a few days ago to watch the inauguration of the 47th president. Unbeknownst to attendees, bags were banned from the arena due to security measures. As a result, people simply threw away their often branded bags.
Trump supporters ditched their Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Gucci bags to attend the presidential inauguration. Thousands of people headed to the Capital One Arena to watch Donald Trump be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.
For such a special occasion, many wore their best outfits with luxurious accessories. However, at the entrance to the building, they were prohibited from bringing bags with them. Then people were faced with a choice: leave everything outside or miss the president's inauguration.

Initially, the inauguration website indicated that small bags were allowed. After the event was moved to an indoor arena due to freezing temperatures, guests were told that bags were not allowed.

The footage shows local fashionistas snapping up branded items left to their fate.
