A man unexpectedly attacked a tourist on the street
The author of the video came to Las Vegas for his wedding anniversary. An unknown man attacked him while he was walking with his wife.
The incident happened back in September, but the attacker was arrested only now. According to the portal, Mitchell Stonebarger and his wife Michelle were walking along the Las Vegas Strip and filming their walk on camera. Two men handing out leaflets accidentally got into the frame, and one of them suddenly jumped up and attacked Stonebarger.
The tourist admitted that the attacker hit him about five times and broke the camera. It was later revealed that the victim had a broken nose.
When Stonebarger posted the video on social media, people who had been in similar situations involving these two men started writing to him. “I was sent videos of other people fighting with these guys on the streets, and I thought it was funny that they’ve been beating up tourists here for years,” the traveler joked.
Investigators told Stonebarger that the attacker, Jeffrey Hammert, was arrested on Dec. 16 and charged with felony assault.
