The Constitutional Committee of the Montenegrin Parliament was forced to briefly suspend its session after opposition MPs threw a smoke bomb into the hall.
MPs from the ruling and opposition parties of Montenegro argued about whether there were grounds to dismiss three judges of the Constitutional Court due to them reaching retirement age. Opposition MPs described the attempt to dismiss the three judges as a "constitutional coup". One of the MPs said that he and his associates would not allow the session to continue.
After the incident, the committee continued its work.
