In the footage, you can see how the terrier "sits" on the pony's back, when the horse is preparing to run up and jump over a blue plastic barrel. A few seconds later, the pony runs up and jumps over this obstacle with the dog on its back.

After jumping together, the terrier was not only able to maintain balance on the horse, but also maintain balance after the jump. After overcoming the obstacle, the terrier continued to confidently stay on the back of the horse.
