Artillerymen of the separate special detachment Wings of Omega destroy occupiers in Donetsk region

The artillery group of the special detachment "Wings of Omega" of the National Guard continues to destroy the enemy in the Donetsk region, supporting assault operations and breaking the positions of the occupiers. This was reported on the Telegram channel by the National Guard, Censor.NET reports.

"We provide cover fire for the guys during the assault, destroying the enemies who are trying to break through to our positions. If there are no active assault operations, we work according to plan - we destroy the targets detected by reconnaissance," says the commander of the fire support group of the special forces detachment with the pseudonym Vals.

As noted, Vals stood at the origins of the creation of this unit and emphasizes teamwork: "Drivers are our legs, drones are our eyes, and guns are our fists."

Currently, the unit uses 105-mm Melara howitzers, which have proven themselves as mobile and effective weapons. "The front in Donetsk region is unstable, but we have our own secrets of using the howitzer, which increase its effectiveness. The guys are charged from birth, do not pay attention to bad weather or conditions, although this time of year is one of the most difficult," the commander added.
