Rescuers captured the touching moment of saving black cat John, who was stuck in a drainpipe. The cat was found on November 23, her head sticking out of the pipe in a garage in the British city of Clevedon.
The fire brigade was called around 10am, they reached the animals with ladders and freed her with special tools.
"The easiest and least tiring option was to cut out part of the pipe while John was in place," the rescuers commented.
The black cat was then quickly taken to a local vet at Vets4Pets Clevedon, who sedated her and removed the remaining tube from her neck. Luckily, John was uninjured and returned home to her owner.
"The day took an unexpected turn when the lovely John arrived to see us. She was given an IV in her leg, oxygen and sedation while the fire brigade removed the remaining tube," the clinic said.
