An oil worker with the nickname Fifotok spoke about the features of the vacancy on the Offshore-Stationar plattform, which I offer to residents of Australia. According to him, the conditions on the platform and the salary outweigh the disadvantages: life away from family and work in extremely difficult conditions. The schedule is two weeks at sea, then a break of the same duration. 
The salary on the drilling platform is $ 18,500 per month, explained the author of the video, who, as it turned out, works as a crane operator. First, he showed how workers get to the drilling site - they are brought by boats or even helicopters. The video shows a group of new workers standing on a small platform, holding on to each other, while they are lifted tens of meters above the water.
The next frames of the one and a half minute video are a mini-tour of the most important places. Viewers see the interiors of living quarters and a dining room, a gym, billiards, a games room, etc. Meanwhile, the driller says that all food and drinks are completely free. Among other things, you can see shelves filled with beer and bottles of water. In addition, you can see trays with steaks, king prawns and pizza.
Then the crane operator showed the viewers his workplace - the crane boom. According to him, sometimes a strong wind blows, and then it is quite dangerous to go to the cabin. On the other hand, dolphins and sharks swim up to the platform: you can throw something edible and watch them eat.
"It's really fun. It's a different environment, and we're flying home in a few weeks. It's great pay, free accommodation, and free food," the author of the video emphasized.
