The Prime Minister of Japan fell asleep during the parliamentary vote for his re-election

During the prime ministerial election held by Japan's Diet on Monday (Nov. 11), Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba was captured on camera with his eyes closed and his head down, as if dozing off.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Lin Fangzheng explained that the prime minister had taken cold medicine and was feeling sleepy.
