A hostel that graffiti artists temporarily turned into a miracle (19 photos + 1 video)

The words "graffiti" and "school" do not go together. And they are only possible to describe vandalism and damage to property.





But in the university town of Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris, these words were able to coexist perfectly well, since they describe breathtaking works of art that could be seen in one of the dormitories. And their creation was not only permitted by the administration of the educational institution, but categorically encouraged.

The student dormitory needed renovation, so she brought in about 100 graffiti artists and let them make any changes they wanted.





The artists worked their magic there for three weeks as part of a city festival.



And when they finished...



...the dorm turned into a magnificent and unique gallery.



Unfortunately, the phenomenon was temporary, and all the beauty was removed after the renovation.



But the fleeting charm of this ambiguous art movement was captured.
