Meirivon Rocha Moraes, 37, from Brazil "married" a life-size doll named Marcelo and "raises" three children - "newborn" twin daughters Marcela and Emilia and a two-year-old son Marcelinho, all of whom are stuffed animals. Her son was recently reportedly kidnapped.



A 'mother of three' has been left devastated after her two-year-old son was allegedly kidnapped.

The thief is demanding a £130,000 ransom.

A tearful woman said her tragedy was compounded when police 'laughed in her face' over the disappearance of her toy son.

'Marcelinho has been kidnapped and it's causing great sadness to our family,' said Meirivon Rocha Moraes.





When the thief demanded that she pay that much money, the woman replied that she was not rich and did not have enough money to even pay for food.

"Marcelo is also outraged. We don't know what to do anymore. We are distributing photos all over the city," the Brazilian woman said.

The tearful mother said that the kidnappers even sent them an anonymous letter made from magazine clippings.

"How could you joke about the disappearance of a child who is only two years old?" the woman laughed at the local police.

The couple recently celebrated their son's second birthday.



On his first birthday, the family threw a big party, but this time they organized a small celebration with only Marcelo's cousins.

"Marcelinho had a lot of fun with his relatives. There were lots of games, music, popcorn, hot dogs, cakes, sweets, soda and even souvenirs," the woman said.



Now Meyrivon wants her son to come home.

"I'm very worried, we're desperate," the Brazilian admitted.
