Last year, a resident of Brazil chose a rag doll as her husband, and the other day she organized a party in honor of her second “baby.” Meirivone Rocha Moraes and her “husband” Marcelo are looking forward to the birth of their daughter. 
This year has been busy for the Moraes family: from rumors of infidelity to kidnappings. But now the 37-year-old woman is overwhelmed with happiness - the long-awaited daughter will soon be born.
The couple held their birthday party at their home surrounded by family and friends.
Meirivone said: "The party was a success. We had chicken, pasta, salad and cake. We even had sweets with our initials on them, music, refreshments and a lot of guests - about 40 people."
The couple's son Marcelinho is growing up, and the name for their daughter has already been chosen - Marcela.
“I wanted it to be a boy, because I heard that raising a girl is more difficult and expensive,” admits the Brazilian. “But the child is still desired and very loved.”
"Marcelo is very, very happy because he wanted a girl. He already has Marcelinho, our boy, so the girl made him very happy."
At the beginning of the month, Meirivone went for an ultrasound examination and announced that she was pregnant. The baby will be born in December.
Over the years of their unconventional life, the couple made headlines more than once.
In June, a woman complained that Marcelo cheated on her for the second time. After such an outburst, she sent her husband to sleep on the sofa and even took away his “penis”.
In February, Meirivone said their child Marcelinho was being held hostage by kidnappers who were demanding £161 for his release.
She posted leaflets and asked everyone who cared to help her with her search.
A mother received a video recording of her son sitting in the corner of an abandoned building. Fortunately, she was able to return Marcelinho unharmed.
