An anti-aircraft missile unit of the 80th separate Galician airborne assault brigade of the Ukrainian Airborne Forces destroyed the newest Russian reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicle "Orion" in the skies over the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade.
It is noted that the enemy drone landed a crew of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system.
"An unmanned aerial vehicle of this type is dangerous because it can not only conduct aerial reconnaissance, but also, having four air-to-ground missiles, inflict fire damage on ground targets," the report says.
