Octopuses often hit fish during a joint hunt
Octopuses like to hunt with fish to increase their chances of catching food. Sometimes they hit their partners with their tentacles.
Octopuses can "command" fish, attracting them to hunt, and slap those who do not obey with their tentacles. As German scientists have found out, such behavior is typical even for solitary octopuses, and the hunting strategy depends on what types of fish are in the squad, but usually they act as "hunters". On such "forays" the fish get prey that they themselves would not catch, and the octopuses save time and energy, since they do not have to search for food themselves.
Man invented slavery. The octopus invented "fishing".
